Refund & cancellation policy
Last updated: 15 March 2026. This policy applies to professional services offered by Oakfield Sector Compass Co., Ltd., including sector scans, district walkthroughs, adjacency reviews, and format briefing sessions.
Eligibility
Refunds relate to fees paid under a written engagement. Website form submissions alone do not create a paid booking. We do not sell physical merchandise through this site.
Deposits
Sector scans and multi-day work usually require a 40% commencement deposit. The deposit reserves field days and analyst time. Deposits become non-refundable once field visits have begun or substantial desk preparation has been delivered, whichever occurs first.
Full refund
If we cancel an engagement before any deliverable or field visit for reasons on our side, you receive a full refund of amounts paid for that engagement within fourteen business days via the original payment method where possible.
Partial refund
If you cancel after the scope is signed but before the first field day, we may refund fees minus a preparation charge of up to 20% of the engagement value (or the deposit, whichever is lower) to cover brief drafting and scheduling. After field work starts, fees for completed portions are due; unused later portions may be partially credited at our discretion.
Non-refundable items
- Completed written scans, memos, and briefing sessions already delivered
- Third-party costs pre-approved by you (for example specialised access fees) once incurred
- Time spent on client-delayed access when we held reserved field days at your request
Rescheduling
Walkthroughs and briefing sessions may be rescheduled once without charge if you give at least three business days’ notice. Later changes may incur a reschedule fee of 1,000,000 VND or forfeit of the session fee if the slot cannot be refilled.
No-shows
If your attendees do not join an agreed walkthrough or briefing without notice, that session is treated as delivered and is non-refundable.
Work already started
Draft materials, photographs, and notes produced before cancellation remain our working papers. You do not receive unfinished packs unless we agree a paid hand-over of work completed to date.
Refund process and timing
Email hello@workspace-oakfield.click with your engagement reference and reason. We confirm eligibility within five business days and process approved refunds within fourteen business days. Bank timelines may add further days.
